Project Analysis
Web Site Design, Web Site Development, Bespoke back-end syndicate management system
Client Introduction
The Syndicate Store is the first facility of its kind which enables consumers looking for fractional ownership opportunities to ’store’ themselves whilst waiting for individuals sharing a common interest to join them. The aim; to complete a group enabling the purchase of any number of items for shared use and for the group to self-coordinate post formation.
Project Overview
The Syndicate Store primarily needed a bespoke management solution, but the project had a very strong emphasis on design. It was almost just as important to get it looking right as it was to get it working right which is very rare in this day and age, but with the client being heavily involved in the design process that side of things took shape very quickly. It was then up to us to get the back-end system right.
Main features
Multiple-level user management system
The Syndicate Store needed something a little extra in the user management department, not only would it need to have different levels of access for people administering the system, it would also need varying levels of access for members of the public. We designed the user management to be flexible around those needs and more importantly we have left it with room to grow in the future.
Syndicate management system
The Syndicate Store’s main aim is to help manage a syndicate and for that process to be usable and easy to follow. We wanted to make the system easy to use for not only the members of the public using the system but also for The Syndicate Store to admin. The admin comes with a range of features from creating a syndicate via online forms, to receiving ‘create a syndicate’ requests via email.
What the client said
Not really knowing what the end result was going to be – I was impressed how Breakfrom developed the site into what it is today. It has produced successful results from very little marketing spend and has provided The Syndicate Store with its first lucrative contract with developers in Portugal. Moving on, the site is now about to undergo a facelift optimising the use of space – carried out by Breakfrom of course!
